Spring 2023 Japanese producer So Kobayashi showcases his latest body of work, an eclectic trip from beginning to end, marking the flourishing talent's first album in four years. The “Impermanence” theme travels blissfully throughout, meandering between the never ending possibilities of electronic music and its vast potentials. The nine track construction from Kobayashi moves elegantly between various refined flavours, layered with ambient influences, hypnotic dub techno, and crisp broken drums. A transcending experience with each of the tracks standing alone, but simultaneously playing a pivotal role in the journey as a whole.

While pursuing minimalism throughout the album, it gently grooves, driven by the low end that vigorously rampages in the first half of the album absorbing the listeners as it purrs, and the flow towards the latter half creates a sense of catharsis, making this a well rounded album leaving a lasting impression on the tastemakers amongst us.
